The association "Oldenburger Münsterland" was founded in 1995 by the municipalities of Cloppenburg
and Vechta to cooperate and use their common strengths in the competition of business locations and
travel regions.

The Niedersachsen Economics Ministry has published a business guide that provides information about
all subjects of interest to foreign investors over 130 pages. The guide is available for download
in 11 different languages on the NGlobal Internet site under the menu "Download".

The data base includes informationabout all federal state aid programmed as well as national and
European programmes. Therefore you can always get a complete and up-to-date overview. All
programmes are listed independently from their level but by common criteria and show a consistent
presentation of all programmes.

European metropolitan area Bremen-Oldenburg
The federal states of Bremen and Lower Saxony, including all municipalities and free cities in the
northwest region deepen their regional cooperation by founding the metroplitan area
Bremen-Oldenburg. With their common projects they initiate new impulses and try to attract a great
number of industry partners.
Federal Employment Office
The Federal Employment Office is providing: career services, placement in training and employment,
support of employers, promotion of vocational training, continuing vocational education, vocational
training for handicapped people as well as services to retain and create jobs and pay compensation.
Furthermore they do labour market and occupational research. They are responsible for labour market
monitoring, reporting and generating of regular statistics.
Innovation network of Lower Saxony
The innovation network of Lower Saxony is trying to connect all different institutions for
innovation and technology that are located in Lower Saxony to promote the collaboration and
connection of all information points and communication systems.
innoWi GmbH
innoWi GmbH is a joint enterprise of the Universities of Bremen and the Bremer
Investionsgesellschaft mbH and aims at the merchandise of patents. For regional enterprises we
offer patented inventions and innovative product ideas emerging from universities and research
institutions in the city of Bremen and the northwestern part of Lower Saxony. To get across
marketable innovations to the industry we try to identify innovations by attending regional
scientists. Moreover innoWi GmbH distributes licences from a pool of more than 2500 inventions
state wide.
Invention Centre of Northern Germany
It is an institution of the Ministry of Economics for Lower Saxony to encourage Innovations and
Inventions.
